Again, Chelsea was really good in the car. She slept, then played and then peed...A LOT. She soaked her diaper, her clothes and the car seat before we were able to make a pit stop. Finally, we stopped just outside of Barstow at a famous diner called Peggy Sues. It was a nice break for all of us, but it was especially nice for Chelsea to get out of that wet diaper. We changed her bum, changed her clothes, and had a bite to eat. Good stuff. Here are a few pics from the Peggy Sues pit stop.
After Peggy Sues we were back on the road again! Chelsea slept the rest of the way home...thanks goodness. All in all we spent a good 10 hours or more on the road this weekend...but it was definitely worth it.
We will be in California with Grandma D, Grandpa Steve and Aunt Charity for the next week. We are so excited to play in the pool, get some sun on our pale white legs and RELAX!!! We will miss Brad though. We wish he could have come and enjoyed a vacation with us but he's hard at work at home.

Um where is Chelsea's matching black shirt and plaid shorts?? Didnt she get the memo? ;-) Looks like you are having a blast - much needed and deserved!!
I know how you feel....most of our vacations to CA are me with the kids and Reed is stuck at home by himself! Looks like fun! :)
