After A LOT of hard work by both Brad and Brad's dad the basement is just about complete! Brad, myself, and Brad's mom and dad spent most of Memorial Day weekend priming and painting the basement walls, doors, closet doors, baseboards, etc. Then Brad and Brad's dad spent the following Saturday putting in the baseboards so we would be ready for the carpet installation. And on Tuesday, June 10th the carpet was installed. It was like the finishing touches had been put on and the end result is beautiful! We are so glad to be nearly finished with this very time consuming (and money consuming project!). I'm posting some of the before and after pictures. The only thing we have left is to finish the shower in the bathroom and maybe add some blinds to the windows.
A special thanks for Scott and Barbara for all the long hours put in to help us beautify our home. We love you guys!
